19th cent. 18 and 14 ct. rosé and yellow gold, varying marks. 5 pieces. Coral cameo probably Italy mid 19th century, gold mounting with french marks sec. half/end 19th cent. Based on the model of representations from 16th and 17th century with roman mythological scenes: necklace with 10 plates in the center 'Apollo and Aurora' after Guido Renis ceiling fresco in the Palazzo Rospigliosi in Rome of 1610, 40 x 20 mm, on the sides Jupiter on chariots pulled by eagles or Gryphus (26 x 16 mm), Europa on the bull, chariot pulled by putti with Venus and putti on chariots pulled by lions, goats, dolphins, eagles or snails after the frescos of the roman Villa Lange al Gianicolo dated in the 16th cent. (l. in total 44 cm), bracelet with scenes 'King's daughter Nausicaa' (cameo 40 x 19 mm, L. 19 cm, with added safety chain, chain link marked Paris Town mark, MM: 'AP', compare identical representation on the noble tiara by Luigi Saulini, Italy 19th cent., Met. Mus. Milton Weil Collection), a pair of earrings with dancing nymphs and masks (hinged earwire, 56 x 17 mm), 2 rings with amor scenes (14 and 18 ct. red gold and yellow gold, 1 ring added later, size 49/50). Coral setting and mountings slightly varying, reverse partly antique modifications, min. small damages. Weight in total approx. 109 g. Divis, no. 1147, 938.
