Hertereich as well as 1894-98 at the Paris École des Beaux-Arts. In Hamburg she taught at the painting school for women of Valecka Röver. She travelled extensively, among others, Italy, Greece a. Egypt. Whe she had to give up her studio in Hamburg in 1920 she moved to Munich.
