This common practice branded paintings from the workshop of a certain master, even if he was not directly involved in their creation. - Expertise: Justus Müller Hofstede, Bonn, 9. Jan. 1988. - Dutch painter. B. called himself a pupil of P. Quast. He started painting church interieurs but soon specialized in depictions of rural life.
