R. studied at the Freie Kunstschule as well as at the academy in Stuttgart, at the last place as pupil of W. Baumeister. In 1955 she moved to Venezuela. In 1959 she had her first solo exhibtion in Caracas a. became well-known also in Europe when she was exponent of Venezuela at the Venice Biennale in 1978.
