Wiggers, on the reverse inscribed 'Droom op Colovinyl' as well as sign. again. - Provenance: Bought in 1966 from an exhibition of the artist in The Hague; thence by descent. - Dutch painter. W. studied at the academy in Den Haag under S. C. Schröder a. at the Munich academy under C. Gerhardinger. He painted abstract subjects but also portraits of girls reminding of Old Master paintings.
