Meissen, around 1730, the polychrome enamelled painting probably later. Narrow mouth bottle. The wall double-sided decorated with a smoking Chinese or a phoenix on a terrestrian pedestal surrounded by rocaille motifs and indian flower tendrils. Large manufactory mark 'AR' in u'glaze blue. Prof. rest. H. 24 cm. - The 'AR'-mark, obviously a proof of the king's porcelain or those pieces which the king gave away as a gift, was in use to at least 1736.
