Songye, Kongo. Middle brown wood, black coloured. Stout, short-legged figure with big feet. The forehead, face and chest with copper applications, on the head a big antelope horn. On the back of the head a weathered piece of leather with animal hair, at the upper arms leather applications with plumes. Min. dam, traces of use.
