Oil/canvas/wood, 55 x 51,5 cm, lo. ri. sign. W. A. Rosam. - German painter. R. was taught 1901-04 in the studio of A. Siebelist. As early as 1903 he joined the Hamburgischer Künstlerclub. In 1906 he had a studio in Berlin, in the following year he went to Paris with F. Ahlers-Hestermann u. F. Nölken where he joined circle of artists of the Café du Dome. 1909/10 he worked in the studio of H. Matisse.
