Berlin, Royal manufactory, 1921. Design by Adolf Amberg, 1909. Underglaze painting in brown and light green colours. As Europa the bride is riding the bull to meet her bridegroom. Sign. on the base 'AMBERG'. Manufactory mark, year stamp 'V' (1921). H. 40,5 cm. Comp.: I. v. Treskow: Die Jugendstil-Porzellane der KPM Berlin, Passau, 1971, fig. 190. - The centrepiece 'The wedding procession' is the most important sculptural work at the beginning of the 20th cent. which was designed by Adolf Amberg on the occasion of the wedding of the German prince couple (6.6.1905).
