Porcelain with underglaze blue and polychrome painting, the blade and tine sterling silver, stamped London 1843-44, MM: 'IL HL' for John & Henry Lias (first reg. 1818), assay mark and Victoria head (comp. Jackson, p. 89,231). Handles with imaginary coat of arms and flower decoration. Knife blade with spread eagle. Small chips to glaze. L. 28 cm and 24 cm.
