China, 19th. Cent. (Qing Dynasty 1644-1911). Polychrome cloisonné on a gilt copper body. Tall rectangular body with slightly projecting neck and foot. All four sides with alternating decoration of dragon and phoenix motives surrounded by colourful clouds, water and bamboo. Foot and neck richly decorated with bats and lotus flowers as auspicious symbols.Very fine and detailed work. Four-character Qianlong-mark. H. each 40 cm.
