Berlin, around 1900. Bronze with dark patina, figure h. 43 cm, black marble plinth h. 3,5 cm, 50 x 20 cm (min. dam.), sign. 'Hosaeus' and with foundary mark 'Akt. Gesellschaft Gladenbeck & Sohn'. - First in 1899 Hosaeus exhibited on the big art exhibition in Berlin, including also a cast of small sculpture 'Equestrian on horseman', which was acquired by the National Gallery in Berlin and today is still owned by the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin.
