China, 19th cent. (Qing-dynasty 1644-1911). Ceramic with red body, completely wrapped by a pewter case with jade handles and nozzle. At the front of the wall an incised decoration with prunus branch, verso poetic inscription. Inside applied four-character mark 'Yáng péng nián zào' 杨彭年造. Pewter case with small dents.
