Meissen, 20th cent. Polychrome painted figure of an elegant young lady on a circular base with small rock, only dressed with a flowing piece of cloth and depicted putting on her right shoe. The base with a relief border of tridents and dolphins. Crossed swords in u'glaze blue, incised 'M193b'. H. 36 cm. - German sculptor, especially known for his designs for the Meissen workshop and works in and around Dresden, 1869-1880 studies at the Berlin and Dresden Academy of Arts, since 1883 in Dresden.
