KPM/Berlin, around 1910. Design from 1770. Tall polychrome painted clock with 4 scrolled feet on a projecting base. The bellied body crowned by a figural allegory of eternity, dressed with a veil and holding a curled snake as her symbol. The lower section, underneath the clock face with laurel-wreath, the winged head of Chronos, at each side a putto. Sumptuous plastical decoration and at the front openwork sections. The clockwork stamped 'Lenzkirch'. Sceptre mark with one incision line, verso incised '3600', the base with blind embossing '3600' and maker's mark. Plastical decoration party chipped, min. chips.
