Ink and watercolour, 50 x 34 cm, sign. in Chinese at the upper left '胡永凯慢筆' (HU Yongkai), artist's seal, largely inscribed in Chinese on top '擇婿图壹玖零零' (Picture of the chosen son-in-law 1900), framed behind glass, unopened. - Contemporary Chinese painter, 1960 attending the Beijing Academy of Fine Arts, 1964-1985 Art Director at a Shanghai-based studio for animation films, 1988 move to Hong Kong, 1992 emigration to the USA, currently lives and works in China, Hong Kong and America, many national and international exhibitions.
