Lévy Salon des Beaux-Arts', numbered 'A2885', foundary mark 'Bronze Garantie au Titre L.V. Deposée'. - The young farmer resting on his fork. Comp. Berman, no. 985. - French sculptor, studied by Armand Toussaint at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts, Paris, 1873-1898 regularly represented with portraits and genre figures on the exhibitions at the Salon des Beaux Arts. - Lit.: Thieme-Becker.
