Depiction of the Buddhist founder (also Guru Rinpoche) on a richly embellished lotus throne among a palast-like architecture (Zangdog Palri) and surrounded by his consorts and other bodhisattvas. The upper part with an aureole of six additional bodhisattvas. Framed with different layers of silk (later add.). Verso inscribed with Tibetan mantra. Partly traces of age. 66 x 44 cm.
