Andreotti, on the reverse titled. - Poggio Imperiale is one of the magnificent Mansions of the Medici family in the surroundings of Florence. - Italian history, landscape a. figure painter. He was initially taught by the miniature painter A. Tricci, 1861-63 he studied at the Florence academy. Already in 1863 he was awarded a scholarship of the academy to travel Rome. Soon after he was commissioned a painting by the Italian king. He was very successful with his historistic salon paintings.
