Gude, continued his studies in Kristiania (Oslo) under J. O. Middelthun a. 1889/90 under F. Cormon in Paris where he let himself inspire by japonism, he was one of the earliest adopters of Art Nouveau in Norway, he exhibited at the most important European exhibitions, among others at the Munich Glaspalast, the Paris World's Fair in 1900 a. at the Vienna Hagenbund. - Mus.: Oslo, Kopenhagen, Budapest, Bergen u.a. - Lit.: Thieme-Becker, Vollmer.
