Silver, marked with MM.: "Fabergé" with double head eagle, work master mark "A.N" for Anders Johansson Nevalainen (1858-1933), assay mark for St. Petersburg bevor 1899, scratched inventory number 3986, coin of the Russian Czarina Catherine II. of 1785, 2 red cabochons and 1 light egg-shaped quarz cabochon ( prob. chalcedon). High quality kovsh of traditional form with raised prow, surface with applied frieze, the pierced flat handle with a silver coin dated 1785 depicting the Russian Czarina Catherine II. H. 6,7 cm, l. 15 cm, weight c. 170 g.
