China, Qing-dynasty (1644-1911). Carved spinach green jade of a superb colour with dramatic black veining. Oval quatrefoil shape on 4 claw feet with lion heads and thickened rim. 46,5 x 32 cm, weight 12,5 kg. - Prov.: Rare Chinese Bronzes and Works of Art from an important private collection in France (Lot 700 - 721). The following group of bronzes, ceramics and jade objects are part of an old noble collection in Southern France. The collection has been assembled since the 19th cent.
