China, Wanli-period (1573-1620). Polychrome cloisonné on bronze-body. Bowl on ring stand with slightly everted rim. At the inner wall a larger revolving border with 4 horses riding on waves. In the centre a koi among waves. At the outer wall a revolving depiction of bamboo, pine and prune blossoms, the "3 Friends of Winter" (Suihan Sanyou). Inside in the centre a koi among waves.
