China, end of 19th cent. (Qing-dynasty 1644-1911). Porcelain with bright polychrome painting. Slightly conical square-body with projecting rim. At the wall densely populated mythological scenes, e.g. with the "8 Taoist Immortals", the "3 star deities" and sky-demons. The neck likewise with figurative scenes. 2 side handles in the shape of lion heads with ring. H. 39 cm.
