China, 19th cent. (Qing-dynasty 1644-1911). Bronze with brown patina. Bellied baluster body on 3 tall legs with circular base. The pommel of the cover in the shape of the unicorn Qilin creature. 2 side handels with plum blossoms. The legs also in the shape of mythical creatures with long tails. At the wall a charming relief with flowers and birds. Cover and base min. restored (not visible). H. 44 cm.
