China, 16th/17th cent. (Ming-dynasty 1368-1644). Porcelain-like body with greyish craquelé-glaze. Hereon painting in red and green with blue highlights. In the centre a circular reserve with a large chrysanthemum-blossom. On the outside wall a revolving band with foliage and blossoms above a stylised lancet border. Chip at the base. Diam. 20,5 cm.
