China, 19th cent. (Qing-dynasty 1644-1911). Porcelain with polychrome painting. Round bodied form with bowl and cover. Rich ornamentation with peonies, foliage, bats and peaches on a deep pink underground. In between framed reserves with figurative scenes. At the cover a central circular reserve with Shoulao (God of longevity) and additional figures under a pine tree. At the bowl fan shaped reserves with corresponding scenes above an ornamental border. Six-character Jiaqing-mark and iron red inv. no. H. 17 cm, diam. 27 cm.
