New York/USA, c. 1900. Lamp shades of opaline glass in yellow, rose and green, marked "Tiffany Studios New York". High bronze foot, green patinated, base plate marked an numbered "Tiffany Studios New York 682". A swivelling lamp shade with decor of a flower wreath of rose blossoms and green leaves on yellow ground. (Comp. Uecker, Art Nouveau and Art Deco Lamps and Glowers, p. 174). - Prov.: Estate of Hilde von Lang, managing director and publisher of the German weekly newspaper "Die Zeit", partner in life of Gerd Bucerius, founder of "Die Zeit" and patron of the arts. - Elecrified with 1 light.
