France. Around 1840. Bronze, gold plated. Total height including marble plinth: H. 80 cm. Gilding partially worn. Screwed together in several parts. On a four-sided marble plinth there is a corresponding pedestal with antique figural applications, baluster shaft with acanthus leaf motifs, five curved candlestick arms with spouts and drip trays, in the middle a fifth candlestick consisting of a vegetable shaft with leaves and ears grows up - Provenance: Rolf-Gerhard Ernst Collection, Munich
