KPM Berlin. Designed in 1912, Ausführung um 1980. Porcelain, colored onglaze decoration, gilding. Blue scepter mark, red imperial orb mark over KPM, black painter's mark. Decor made of cornucopias and ears in relief, the plastic knobs in the form of bouquets of fruits and leaves. It is named after the ancient goddess 'Ceres', the patroness of agriculture and the allegorical embodiment of abundance. 15 pieces: teapot (height 16.5 cm), 6 teacups with saucers, 6 plates (diameter 20.5 cm), creamer, sugar bowl - German painter and ceramist. Education at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Munich, then at the Munich Art Academy. 1897 co-founder of the Vereinigte Werkstätten in Munich. 1908-26 artistic director of the KPM Berlin. Schmuz-Baudiss ranks as one of the most productive artists of Art Nouveau, he was responsable for numerous drafts for furniture design and ceramics.
