1963. Pen and ink drawing. 25 x 40,5 cm. Matted and framed under glass, uninspected out of frame. Lower right signed and dated Hoehme 63. - German painter. After completing an apprenticeship as a bank clerk and serving as a pilot during World War II, H. first studied at Giebichenstein, then at the Düsseldorf Academy, where he became a professor in 1965. Among other honors, H. received the Villa Massimo Prize in Rome in 1960 and exhibited at Documenta. His most famous student is Sigmar Polke.
