Bronze, dark brown patinated. H. 4 x 21 x 11 cm. Monogrammed KK on the top, signed K. Kurz München on the bottom, numbered copy I/V. Baby resting contentedly on its back on a bed - German sculptor, initially trained as a plasterer and bronze caster and then studied in Munich with Prof. Lothar Dietz and Gregor Kruk. Kurz lived and worked in Petting am Waginger See and worked primarily figuratively and naturalistically. His favorite subjects included portraits, nudes, animal depictions and family scenes.
