1936. Oil/paper/fibre board. 16 x 22 cm. Lower left signed and dated V. Qvistorff 936. - Danish marine and ship portrait painter. Like many marine painters he was an autodidact. Since at least 1924 he worked as a full time artist. He exhibited in New York, Paris and London and his works are in collections all over the world.
