S. studied graphic design, illustration and painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart. From 1964 S. lived in Paris and the souther of France. In 1969 he founded an etching studio in Stuttgart and worked closely with Rolf Nesch and Horst Janssen. In 1978, he was appointed lecturer at the Académie des Beaux Arts in Ghent. Mus.: Lit.:
