1925-30. 18 ct. Rose gold, stamped 750 18k, maker's mark: Georg Jensen, num. 249. Weight: approx. 29.5 g. W. 9 mm, L. 42 cm. Compare Janet Drucker, Georg Jensen, a tradition of splendid silver, page 181; Invoice Wolter Art and Jewelry Hamburg 1992. - Danish silversmith, 1895-1901 Studies at the Royal Danish Academy of Art in Copenhagen, then worked in the studio of the Danish court jeweler Michelsen. In 1904 opening of his own studio in Copenhagen where Jensen first produced works in the Art Nouveau style. Soon after he founded the company Georg Jensen, which is famous for their designs in the functional style of the Danish industrial designs.

Vita:
Danish silversmith, 1895-1901 Studies at the Royal Danish Academy of Art in Copenhagen, then worked in the studio of the Danish court jeweler Michelsen.
