Around 1930. Bronze, dark patinated. H. 20,5 c 25 x 13 cm, wooden base: H. 2,5 cm. Signed CHRISTOPHE. - French sculptor, pupil of Louis Bérard, Gabriel Jules Thomas and Georges Gardet. He was best known for his animal sculptures, mostly dogs, cats and monkeys made of bronze, plaster or wax, as well as for his portrait busts of famous personalities.
