Meissen. Designed in 1973/74, executed in 1992. Porcelain, underglaze blue, enamel colors, polished gold. H. 72 cm. . Crossed swords mark on the bottom and wall, 31625, 220, year letter for 1992, signed in gold. L. Zepner P. Strang H. Werner R. Stolle W. Wachs. Minimally chipped on the rider's plume. The vase is a 'collective work' by the artists Ludwig Zepner (bag shape of the vase), Peter Strang (plastic work), Heinz Werner (decor design), Rudi Stolle (underglaze and enamel colors) and Wolfgang Wachs. It forms the highlight within the 'Arabian Nights' decor group, with relief figures of the guards on the wall adding additional elements.
