Woman wearing traditional costume from Blåvands Huk, Denmark's westernmost point, with a light blue checked apron and black and green checked bonnet. - Danish painter and porcelain artist, initially trained as a ceramist under H. Christian Petersen and studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen from 1897. He was particularly well known for his porcelain figurines of people from the Netherlands and Greenland in traditional dress, including rare figurines of Inuit children.

Vita:
