Traditional costume figure with light blue apron, green striped bodice, neck scarf, and headscarf - Danish painter and porcelain artist, initially trained as a ceramist under H. Christian Petersen and studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen from 1897. He was particularly well known for his porcelain figurines of people from the Netherlands and Greenland in traditional dress, including rare figurines of Inuit children.

Vita:
