Meissen. Designed 1909, made around 1950. Porcelain, colored. H. 15,5 cm. Crossed swords mark, model number A 232, 108, 17 (red), year code. - Literature: Sabine und Thomas Bergmann. Meissener Künstler-Figuren. Modellnummern A100 - Z 300, page 458, catalogue number 918 - Oehler studied at the Dresden Academy under Georg Wrba and worked until 1914 for the Meissen Manufactory. He was a member of the Hamburg artist association and the German Künstlerverein and the German 'Werkbund'. He created numerous genre figures, children's figurines and animal figures.
