1999. Bronze, dark patinated. H. 20,3 x 12,5 x 9 cm. Monogrammed and dated DWB 99. Unique piece. Stylized human figures of varying sizes on a ‘sloping plane’, with a wall-like element featuring relief figures in the background - Expertise: Unique piece - confirmation by the artist dated November 30, 2001 - German sculptress and medal maker, she began her education at the Stuttgart Academy under U. Günther and R. Daudert. 1964-68 she continued her studies at the Hamburg Academy under Gustav Seitz. Since the early nineties she began to work with ceramics, later she tried to combine drawings and sculptures. She composed numerous works for the public space, for example the fountain at the Großneumarkt in Hamburg or the memorial for the former synagogue in the Oberstraße, Hamburg. The sculptress lived and worked in her own studio in Hamburg Lit.: Der Neue Rump et al.

Vita:

German sculptress and medal maker, she began her education at the Stuttgart Academy under U. Günther and R. Daudert. 1964-68 she continued her studies at the Hamburg Academy under Gustav Seitz.
