Kronstadt. Around 1640/50. Silver, partially gilt, embossed and engraved. Maker's mark: crowned monogram MS above star (=Michael Goldschmit alias Schmitt senior, active 1632-1659 in Kronstadt). H. 19 cm, approx. weight 240 g. Traces of oxidation. Slim cup on a cylindrical foot ring with a gilt landscape decoration with animal hunt. Profiled wave-shaped band between the cup base and foot.
