Silk screen in colours. 70 x 50 cm. Unframed. Lower left autographed J. Tinguely and blind stamp of printer Domberger Stuttgart, lower right numbered 339/500. - Swiss sculptor and painter. T. trained as a decorator in Basel from 1941-44, during which time he also began his collaboration with Daniel Spoerri. In 1950 he moved to Paris and met Yves Klein and Niki de Saint Phalle, whom he would later marry. His work is characterized by machine-like sculptures, often moved by motors. T. exhibited several times at the Documenta. Mus.: Basel (Tinguely Mus.), Paris (Centra Pompidou), Stockholm (Moderna Museet), Zurich a. others.
