Acrylic/canvas. 90 x 100 cm. Lower right monogrammed UH, on the reverse titled Lavande le soir. - German landscape and figure painter. H. grew up in France and initially embarked on a career away from art. His painting skills hardly suggest that he is artistically self-taught. H. has lived in Germany again since 1990 and began to establish himself on the market of contemporary representational art in the late 1990s. His paintings are particularly effective through their expressive colorfulness.
