Lower right signed and dated Erol 81 as well as stamped Tughra, on the reverse signed and dated again as well as titled. - Provenance: From the collection of a family who were friends of the artist - Studied at the Istanbul Academy of Fine Arts, 1950-52 and the Florence Academy of Fine Arts, 1952. Worked in André Lhote and Fernand Léger’s studios in Paris and studied architecture under Lidwig Mies van der Rohe at the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, 1954-60.
