M. began studying in 1936 at the Posen art a. crafts school. Since 1937 he continued his studies at the Warsaw academy udner F. S. Kowarski a. L. Pekalski. In 2009 he was awarded the 'Gloria Artis' medal, the highest Polish order for artistical achievements.
