Meissen. Designed 1760/62, made 20th cent. Porcelain, colored. H. 93 cm, diam. ca 75 cm. Crossed swords mark. Excellent condition with very small chips. Baluster-shaped, partly basket-shaped openwork body with 6 curved candlesticks, each with a canary perched on it, richly decorated with sculptural flower cones, curved leaf fronds in the upper section. Electrified - Provenance: Private collection in northern Germany, acquired in 1985 for DM 60,000
