Silkscreen and lithograph in colours with metallic imprint. 69,5 x 50 cm. Framed under glass, uninspected out of frame. Lower right autographed Dunkelbunt and numbered 1728/10001. Minimally faded. - Literature: Catalogue raisoné: HWG 83 - Painter, architect and ecologist, most prominent exponent of the 'Neue Wiener Schule' who became world famous with his organically shaped buildings and his colourful paintings. In 1948 H. studied under R. C. Andersen at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste for three months, 1949 he started using the name 'Hundertwasser', and in 1951 he became a member of the 'Art Club Wien'. H's career was dominated by international exhibitions in France, Italy, Tahiti, Japan, and the USA amongst others. Throughout his career H. received a variety of awards, the Großer Österreichischer Staatspreis and the Nature Conservation Price in 1981.
