Oil/canvas. 55 x 46 cm. Lower middle signed Lindström, on the reverse titled and numbered F 10-1956/98. - Swedish painter, graphic artist, and sculptor, one of the most important Swedish artists of his generation. L. learned painting in Isaac Grünewald's studio in Stockholm from 1944 onwards and took lessons at the Copenhagen Academy. This was followed by a stint at the Art Institute in Chicago and lessons with André Lhote and Fernand Léger in Paris, where he had a studio from 1953 onwards. L. also created very large-format murals, including at a power station and a dam.
