The sheet offered here comes from the highest quality edition of only 200 copies. In addition, there was an edition of 4.000 for the art trade and the poster motif in unlimited edition. - Painter, set designer and photographer, one of the most important and well-known contemporary artists. H. studied at the Royal College of Art in London from 1959. Until 1963 he had several teaching positions in the U.S. and Germany, since then he has worked freelance. The swimming pool motifs that are so characteristic of the artist already date from this period. H. was a multiple Documenta participant. Vita:
